Movies became a defining point in my life and directors I worked with simply had to put up with me. I've always seen my projects through from story discussions to its completion. My interest goes deeper than mere production values and box-office hits. We meant business but we also wanted to make good films!

Some would call it beginner's luck since our first movie was a blockbuster hit, but when the second movie "Aadhavan" too became the biggest grosser of 2009 people began to see the hard work and the involvement of Red Giant Movie. "Ghilli" was my all time favourite, and I wanted to work with the same team. My first venture "Kuruvi" starring Vijay was a dream project for me. Or it could have been a family thing, but either way I couldn't have chosen a more apt career for myself, or a more passionate one. "Watching movies was a pastime, and then it became an obsession, so much so that I had an overwhelming urge to become part of the movie world - I became a producer! He also works as a distributor, with his first one being Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa followed by Madrasapattinam, Boss Engira Baskaran, Myna, Ko, The Dark Knight Rises, Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya, Udhayam NH4, Neram, Kutti Puli, Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer, Raja Rani, Thagaraaru, Endrendrum Punnagai, Nedunchaalai, Saivam, Aranmanai, Tamiluku En Ondrai Aluthavum and Inimey Ippadithan. His forthcoming production includes Nanbenda directed by Jagadish. He is the son of former Deputy Chief Minister. 1977 Udhayanidhi Stalin is born on 27 November 1977 in Chennai. He introduced his spouse Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi as a director for Vanakkam Chennai followed by Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal directed by S.R.Prabhakaran. He is married to Kiruthiga who directed the film Vanakkam Chennai and Kaali. He also Produced and debuted as an actor for the film Oru Kal Oru Kanndi followed by producing Neerparavai directed by National Award Winner Seenu Ramasamy. Murugadoss' Ezham Arivu staring Surya, Shruti Hassan and Johny Tri Nguyen. Ravikumar's Manmadhan Ambu staring Kamal Hassan, Madhavan and Trisha along with A.R. His next venture was Aadhavan which was released on Deepavali 2009 and it was a hit followed by K.S. This film was directed by Dharani of Ghilli fame. She further said that the rest of the cast and crew of the film was still being decided on and would be announced soon.His debut film as a producer was Kuruvi, starring Vijay and Trisha. Pentela Sagar will be the producer of the film. Speaking about other core members of the cast for the film, she said that Richard M Nathan would be taking charge of the photography of the film. She said that she was absolutely sure that the two youngsters would do justice to the role and would play the parts to perfection. Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi revealed that she wanted a cast that was young and fresh and that was primarily the reason why she had chosen Kalidas Jayaram and Tanya Ravichandran to helm the film and tell her story.
She further said that travel forms an integral part of the story as the film speaks about the journey of life through the metaphor of travel. She was also looking for a story that would appeal to her and her audience. She explained that she had taken a little time before creating the movie as she wanted something that would be perfect. Speaking about her film on the portal, the director said that the film was going to be the third film she directed after Vanakkam Chennai and Kaali. Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi staged a soft opening for her movie, which stars Kalidas and Tanya, on Twitter Spaces.
